Pumpkin's Day to Race
October 28, 2006
The Greatest Pumpkin River Race- real pumpkins racing down the Snohomish River to cross the finish line at the Snohomish Avenue D Bridge, Watch the action from the Pumpkin race Pit is at Kla Ha Ya Park on First Street.
11 a.m. Race Day activities begin at First St. and Avenue A (Gazebo)
Tickets $5. Sold at local farms, and Festival of Pumpkin weekend events. Each pumpkin with be marked with a corresponding ticket number. The First Three pumpkins retrieved by the Snohomish Co. Search and Rescue water team will win cash and prizes.
1st place $300, 2nd. Place $150 and 3rd Place $50 plus each winner gets a prize package from local merchants.
Proceeds to benefit: Snohomish Co. Search and Rescue, The Snohomish Food Bank and Kla Ha Ya Days.
