Mayor Randy Hamlin                                            Message from City Manager

Message from the Mayor:

When Boeing announced that it would assemble its new 7E7 in Everett, Washington many suppliers started thinking about moving closer to the plant. The City of Snohomish is located just 12 miles from the Boeing Everett plant and we want your business.

Please contact us for information about the amenities a small city like ours has to offer your business and its employees. Land is available and affordable with City Hall just a short distance away and ready to work with you on new development projects you might propose. City Council has streamlined the permitting process, and has made significant financial investments to improve its infrastructure. Our local workforce is an educated one, with local training colleges a short distance away.

Read the testimonials in the packet from businesses that have relocated here, like Soundair Aviation Services Inc. Bob Klem, its President, is willing to speak with you further about why he moved his business to Snohomish from King County. He can be reached at (360) 453-2300.

Even if you’re not a supplier to Boeing, you should consider relocating to our small city just for the quality of life we could provide you and your employees. Housing is still affordable, and our school system is one of the best in the state. The City, bordered by two significant rivers, has numerous parks and trails for recreation, fishing and boating. We have worked hard to preserve the “Main Street America” feel to our historic downtown commercial and residential district. We have local festivals, antique car and motorcycle shows, even a Farmer’s Market that takes place every Thursday night in the summertime.

Please feel free to contact me personally to schedule lunch and a tour of available properties in the City. We want your business and its employees to relocate to our community. You tell us what we need to do to get you here.

Sincerely,

Mayor Randy Hamlin
